TOOLS AND TRAINING TO BUILD A SOLID SUSTAINABLE GROWTH STRATEGY

  • Designed to help business leaders developing their growth plan, the Executive MBA in Sustainable Growth Strategy for SMEs is the result of a partnership between Montpellier Métropole, the Leader Occitanie association, and the Jacques Cœur Chair in Entrepreneurial Support at Labex Entreprendre (University of Montpellier). Leading to a university degree, this program consists of five thematic sessions spread over six months. It offers people an opportunity to step back and reflect on their strategy, expand their knowledge by interacting with recognized experts, and draw inspiration from the experiences of other entrepreneurs.
  • The Executive Financial Management and Sustainable Growth program, launched by Montpellier Métropole and the Leader Occitanie association, is hosted by University of Montpellier. The program is taught by a team of faculty members from Labex Entreprendre who specialize in the fields of financing and growth strategy. Its goal is to provide a simple and practical understanding of the challenges and practices of financial management for your business. To learn more, click here.
  • Montpellier Business Plan: a highly specialized and flexible tool developed by Montpellier BIC, the Montpellier Métropole’s startup incubator – ranked among the world’s top 5 by UBI Global – the Montpellier Business Plan application enables founders of innovative startups to structure their business plans and thereby better present their projects. This highly informative tool offers all types of business founders a framework for strategic thinking as well as a simulation module for financial forecasting.

MONTPELLIER MÉTROPOLE AT THE HEART OF THE FINANCING ECOSYSTEM

  • Pour venir en appui des entreprises, la Métropole de Montpellier déploie une ambitieuse stratégie d’investissements dans les outils de haut de bilan. Elle est ainsi sociétaire d’Irdi Capital Investissement, la société régionale qui accompagne en fonds propres depuis plus de 40 ans les startups, PME et ETI du grand Sud-Ouest de la France à tous les stades de leur développement : amorçage, développement et transmission.

    La Métropole de Montpellier a également pris des participations dans cinq de ses fonds régionaux :  Irdinov2 et 3, Aelis Innovation et Aelis Innovation2 et Irdi Impulsion, plus spécifiquement ancré dans l’appui à la transition. En 2023, la Métropole a décidé d’abonder au fonds Occidev, deuxième fonds d’Occte, la société de gestion, initiée par la Région Occitanie et dédiée au développement des secteurs stratégiques et durables. Le fonds Occidev sera fortement centré sur les secteurs de la santé, l’environnement et l’alimentation, une mission parfaitement en phase avec MedVallée, le pôle mondial d’excellenceS en santé globale, initié par la Métropole de Montpellier. 

    À SAVOIR :

    Irdi Capital Investissement comme OCCTE développent des démarches ESG, dans leur propre structure et dans l’appui qu’ils apportent aux projets, en synergie avec les valeurs portées par la Métropole.

  • La SATT AxLR Occitanie Méditerranée a pour objectif de valoriser les résultats issus des laboratoires académiques de son territoire et favoriser les transferts de technologie vers les entreprises. La Métropole de Montpellier est actionnaire, aux côtés notamment de la Région Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée, pour appuyer l’action à visée économique de cette société d’accélération auprès des entreprises de son territoire : startups, TPE/PME, ETI et grands groupes.

  • Pour accélérer la mise en place de vos projets de croissance, la Métropole de Montpellier s’appuie aussi sur son réseau de grands partenaires, acteurs de premier plan de l’accompagnement des entreprises dans leurs projets, parmi lesquels figurent Bpifrance, la Région Occitanie et AD’OCC, son agence de développement économique, ainsi que la CCI Hérault.
